does praia da rocha have any heavy metal bars/clubs, ?

Diagonal plays metal and rock music. I haven't been there in quite some time though, so not sure what it is like these days, but it used to be a nice bar. Another much larger bar near the front, think it is called Pé de Vento (or something like that - Diskwizz may correct me) also used to have live rock music some nights.

Sadly my mate cantget out for the gigs on 25th 26th and 27th
Gutted as WASP was our band of choice in the 80's.
If you are out here I would really suggest going tho, will only cost you about €15 in a taxi to get there.
I answered the same question about rock bars in teh Alvor forum and the answer is pretty much the same. However my brother is in the resort much more than me so ill ask him. I also have a mate who is a big Portuguese Metal fella (sorry Bruxy he is taken ) so ill ask him what is closest to you.
Are you staying in Alvor or Rocha?????

Just to confirm, have been told Diagonal is your best bet for heavy music.
