Silves Medieval Fair - August

Silves Medieval Fair is held annually in August and this year's dates are from 9th to 15th.

Everyone dresses up in Medieval costume and as well as all the stalls (mostly from Spain and North Africa) selling their wares and crafts, there are various daily and nightly events of singing and dancing.

There still weren't any dates for this year when I last looked 2 or 3 weeks ago. However, funnily enough, someone told me last night that they may be out now, so I'll have to check. Come on!! This is Portugal, nothing happens that much in advance!!

Been tentatively told this year's dates are 9th to 17th August....but don't hold me to that. I still haven't seen it officially announced yet.
